Apple’s main line of business is through the use of new technology which is expanding rapidly. The company are well known for inventing iPads, iPhones, Apple Watches and MacBook. The well-known devices are the most initiative, engaging and powerful tools for business. Created with innovative hardware, software and services that produce an outstanding user experience, Apple recognises today’s modern workforce to do something truly inspiring. In addition, as of January 2015, Apple Inc. claim to directly employ 66,000 employees in the United States alone. Many other jobs are attributable to Apple, including 627,000 created to support the IOS ecosystem. Moreover, the company’s 265 Apple stores employ about 30,000 retail employees.

This includes the use of TV Commercials, endorsements from the entertaining industry e.g. Movies and TV series but also through YouTube where many video bloggers create tutorials and reviews of Apple products. Some you tubers may not necessarily been called upon by the Apple companies but it still contributes to the attention Apple needs. To add to that, with regards to smartphones their main competitors are Samsung. Otherwise, with regards to iPads their competitors are Microsoft. Moreover, Smartphone Vendor is Apple’s Market Share. Apple’s mobile market share has currently dropped in May while Android skyrockets. Apple Inc. was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne on April 1st 1976.

1)    Wheel and Spoke Hierarchy – This is a sequentially parallel software development model. It is essentially a modification of the spiral model that is designed to work with smaller teams, which then scale upwards and build value faster. It is best used during the design and prototyping stages of development.
2)   Function-Based Structure – A functional organisation is a common type of organisational structure in which the organisation is divided into smaller groups based on specialised functional areas, such as IT, finance, or marketing.
3)   Product-Based Grouping - In project management, a product breakdown structure (PBS) is a tool for analysing, documenting and communicating the outcomes of a project, and forms part of the product based planning technique.

Apple Inc. has a wide range of products from portables (MacBook Pro), desktops (iMac, MacPro and Displays) to iPods, iPads, iPhones, Apple Accessories and so much more. In addition, Apple is highly praised by their repair service known as AppleCare protection plan. Furthermore, with global sales of US$16 billion in merchandise in 2011, Apple leads the United States retail market in terms of sales per unit area. Apple has 453 retail stores in 16 countries and an online store available in 39 countries. Currently Apple Inc. has a share value of 106.94USD.
